Jane’s First Husband

  1. JANE went down to the well.
  2. And brought herself back.
  3. A matrimony. He had rode.
  4. In on a well-fed white.
  5. Horse with head. Slathered.
  6. In gyre-tightening cream.
  7. Gulping down slug juice.
  8. And various vials imbued.
  9. With noxious vernal.
  10. He smiled amicably.
  11. Claimed that cannon fodder.
  12. Was making a comeback.
  13. It was nothing personal.
  14. He had many levels and layers.
  15. On him. An heir to a tin can.
  16. Telephone empire. Lover of all.
  17. Things directly related to.
  18. The right to traipse to the front.
  19. Of the breadline. He taught.
  20. JANE how to become an expert.
  21. At getting what she needed.
